This was shot yesterday during a little stroll around with my camera. I really liked the clouds during that day.

Auch wenn das Foto kein Oberkracher ist, die heimische Idylle ist einfach einzigartig!! :-)

"WHOO-HOO!!! HA-HA!!!!! Man...that's so COOL!!!!!!"
Oh...sorry...I was distracted by your awesome avatar. Sorry...still smiling....(hee-hee)...it's just so...FUN!!!!! It's so much better to dance on a dirtbike than to be thrown off of one.

Anyway, I really like your "Afternoon Walk" photo. The color intensity and sharpness are right on. The binary effect of the large tree, and single cumulus cloud behind it, is very strong. And it seems all angles point twords the two small buildings at the base of that enormous tree. The effect (to me anyway), draws attention to the fact that together they share a history, and how it seems the small buildings huddle close, like children, to the enormous strength and size of the tree, a companion who has clearly provided comfort for many years.
As it is, a "postcard" from a casual walk you were fortunate to experience, it holds no less beauty than a postcard from Paris.

thanks for expressing your strong feelings and all the details, makes complete sense to me ;)
however this kind of simple landscape is what we have plenty around my place, so this is not very spectacular particularly for me, hehe
