Basílica i Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Família
(Basilica and Expiatory Church of the Holy Family)
This is probably the most stunning and beautiful church I've ever seen.
It features modern architecture elements which you wouldn't see in any other church around the world while mixed with traditional gothic elements.
Undoubtedly this was Antoni Gaudí's most impressive project, which is still a work in progress. Construction was started back in 1882 (131 years ago!) and probably will not be finished before 2026 (estimated by Joan Rigol, president of the construction committee).
